The vertical shaft metal shredder is primarily used for shredding, crushing, and grinding large, irregularly sized scrap metals. Its main functions include:
Efficient Volume Reduction: Breaks large scrap materials such as automobile casings, discarded household appliances, and briquetted scrap into smaller pieces, significantly reducing floor space and transportation costs.
Liberating Value: Through powerful crushing, different metal components (such as copper and iron in motors) are fully separated, creating the necessary conditions for efficient subsequent sorting.
Uniform Material Preparation: Breaks materials into uniformly sized, clean particles, significantly improving the sorting efficiency and purity of subsequent magnetic separators, eddy current separators, and electrostatic separators.

Application

pyrolysis tire steel wire, tire steel wire waste, steel wire, paint drums, diesel drums, thin iron sheets, car shells, metal briquettes, metal plate scraps, and other scrap metal materials.

Working Principle

The metal vertical shaft crusher utilizes a unique vertical rotor structure and a “stone-beating-iron” crushing principle, resulting in efficient and powerful operation:
Center Feed: Material enters the center of the high-speed rotating rotor through a top feed port.
Accelerated Ejection: The rotor’s hammers accelerate the material to extremely high speeds, projecting it tangentially toward the surrounding anvils.
Impact Crushing: The material experiences intense impact and collision with the anvils, while also colliding with each other, achieving efficient crushing.
Screening Control: Crushed material descends under gravity and is discharged through a bottom outlet equipped with a screen plate of specified specifications. Material that does not meet the required size continues to be impacted within the crushing chamber until it is crushed and discharged.

Features

1. Uniform Discharge Particle Size: The unique crushing principle and replaceable screen plate design ensure uniform and controllable discharge particle size, meeting the requirements of subsequent fine sorting.
2. Wear-Resistant and Durable: The core crushing components (rotor, hammers, anvils, and screen plates) are manufactured from ultra-high manganese steel or other special wear-resistant alloys and undergo a special heat treatment process to ensure impact and wear resistance, ensuring a long service life.
3. Compact Design: The vertical structure occupies a small footprint while maintaining a large crushing chamber, enabling high throughput.
