Metal Baler

Metal baler, this hydraulic metal baler is used to pack and compress various metal scraps into blocks, which can reduce transportation and smelting costs while increasing production.

Application

Mainly used for UBC,scrap metal, metal shavings,scrap steel, scrap aluminum, scrap copper,scrap stainless steel,scrap car etc.

Working Principle

The operation process is an automated cycle, typically divided into the following steps:

1. Loading: The chamber door is closed and locked, and the operator or a feeder loads the scrap metal into the chamber.
2. Compression: After loading, the main cylinder pushes the ram forward horizontally to compress the loose material.
3. Holding Pressure: After compression reaches the set position or pressure, the system maintains pressure for a period of time to stabilize the bale shape and release internal stress in the metal material to prevent springback.
4. Strapping: During or after the holding pressure, some balers have an automatic strapping device to strap the bale to prevent it from falling apart.
5. Ejecting: After compression is complete, the chamber door locks open, and the main cylinder continues to advance, ejecting the compressed bale from the chamber.
6. Return: The ram returns to its initial position, the chamber door closes, and the next cycle begins.
